Casualty of the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” War

A United States Army Soldier on leave from his second tour in Iraq tells his Senator’s Legislative Assistant during Veterans Lobby Day in D.C. on May 11, 2010 how he is going to be discharged from the Army for being Gay, but was told his discharge papers will sit in a desk until he returns from his next tour in Iraq, he is set to leave next week.
